Junior Section Outdoor 5-a-side Football Competition
Congratulations to our Juniors who are the 2013/2014 Battalion Outdoor 5-a-side Football Champions!!
Saturday 9th November 2013 at Powerleague, Croydon.
A big THANK YOU to everyone who turned up on a very cold, damp (and dark!) Saturday afternoon to represent the 14th Croydon. We had a few boys drop out on the day but still nine boys and a few parents came along, not quite enough boys for two teams we thought, but due to a few missing from other companies it was decided to run the competition as a 4-a-side tournament. So the 14th’s ‘A’ and ‘B’ teams were joined by teams from the 5th, 11th, & the 16th Croydon. Our referees for the day were Kevin Marshal & Neil Clay and our thanks, as ever, go to Kevin for organising the whole event (and the break in the weather!). Our teams for the afternoon were as follows;
